The American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) is the international 
organization for professionals skilled in the design and specification of plumbing systems.
 ASPE is dedicated to the advancement of the science of plumbing engineering,
 to the professional growth and advancement of its members, and to the health,
 welfare and safety of the public.

The Eastern Michigan Chapter was founded in December 1975 with 16 members
 and has grown to over 130 members. It is now the largest chapter in Region 2 and 
has been dubbed the "educational chapter."  The Eastern Michigan Chapter prides 
itself on providing expertise by integrating experience with education.
